Mike Rallis, also known as Riddick Moss, may have joined WWE’s main roster relatively late in 2020, but his time in the company’s developmental system provided him with invaluable experiences.

Recently, during virtual signing with East Coast Autograph Auctions, Rallis shared insights from his training days at the WWE Performance Center, including a memorable encounter with the legendary Bryan Danielson, formerly known as Daniel Bryan.

The now former WWE Superstar revealed that he had the unique opportunity to train with Danielson during a period when the latter was retired but gearing up for a comeback. Recounting the experience, Rallis expressed his admiration for Danielson’s skills, affirming that the veteran wrestler lived up to his sterling reputation.

He recalled, “When [Bryan Danielson] was officially retired, I was called into the Performance Center for a super-secret mission, and it was to train with him in the ring when no one else was allowed in there. I was sworn to secrecy for that. I just gotta say, that guy is as good as advertised.”

With a smile, Rallis emphasized Danielson’s exceptional talent and smooth execution in the ring, noting that every move seemed precisely calculated. He humorously quipped about taking credit for Danielson’s eventual comeback, highlighting the impact of their training sessions.

While Rallis was released from WWE in September 2023, his reflections on training with Danielson shed light on the caliber of talent within the wrestling industry. As Danielson continues to make waves in AEW following his departure from WWE, his recent victory over Katsuyori Shibata on AEW Collision underscores his enduring legacy and prowess in the squared circle.
