WWE Universe in Memphis, Tennessee had a great start to the festivities of Friday Night SmackDown with the opening bout itself offering a huge opportunity for two teams to go to WrestleMania 40.

It was by the General Manager of RAW and SmackDown Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis on the red brand this week that Finn Balor and Damien Priest were set to defend their Undisputed WWE tag team titles at WrestleMania 40 in a 6-Pack Ladder match against 5 other teams.

The first qualifier match kicked off the in-ring action on tonight’s edition of SmackDown, as heated rivals Legado Del Fantasma (Angel and Berto) squared off against the LWO (Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde).

The match was an excellent display of classic tag team wrestling, with fast-paced action and high-risk maneuvers that had the audience on their feet. The closing moments of the bout saw an excellent double-team move executed by Angel and Berto on Joaquin Wilde to secure the pinfall.

With their win, Legado Del Fantasma becomes the first team to move to the next round which can lead them to the high-stakes 6-man ladder match at The Show of Shows in the coming weeks.
