Rey Mysterio is undoubtedly one of the true veterans in the world of professional wrestling, having been in the industry for well over three decades. The animated show based on Mysterio has been highly anticipated for a while and it has finally released for fans to enjoy.
“Rey Mysterio vs. La Oscuridad” was first announced in late 2021 as a 10-episode action-comedy animated series that would be airing on Cartoon Network Latin America in 2022. However, the series didn’t release back in 2022 at all.
It was then noted that the show was going to release ‘very soon.’ The official Cartoon Network Instagram page for Latin America took to the social media platform and announced that the show has finally been released for viewers.

As for Rey Mysterio himself, he returned on the March 1st edition of Friday Night SmackDown and immediately began a feud with Santos Escobar. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see whether Mysterio’s cartoon will end up becoming a hit in the end,
