Trick Williams’ First Remarks After Shocking Return on 3/5 NXT Roadblock

WWE’s NXT roster features numerous talents on the verge of stardom, and Trick Williams is one of them. After a month-long hiatus following Carmelo Hayes’ betrayal, he returned during NXT Roadblock and set the stage for a bout with Hayes. Following his appearance, he sent a message to his former partner.

Carmelo Hayes’ friendship with Trick Williams was one of the best things about NXT but he ultimately betrayed him at NXT Vengeance Day, setting up their feud and effectively starting their singles run as well.

As seen on this week’s episode of NXT Roadblock, Trick Williams made his shocking return during Carmelo Hayes and Tony D’Angelo’s #1 contender’s bout for the NXT Championship. Williams ended up costing Hayes the match, as fans rejoiced.

Following his shocking return, WWE NXT’s official Instagram account uploaded a video of Trick Williams backstage. Williams sent a warning to Carmelo Hayes, making it clear the former partners will do battle soon.

”Melo you can run if you want to, you know where you can find me.”

We will have to wait and see how WWE will book Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams’ feud in the coming weeks, as fans are already heavily invested in the ongoing storyline.
