Jack Perry’s surprise appearance at last month’s Battle in the Valley event delighted AEW fans and he was set to make his NJPW in-ring debut on March 6th. The match finally took place and Perry emerged victorious in his first NJPW match.

Perry was slated to participate in the New Japan Cup Tournament hosted by NJPW, a round-robin competition boasting more than 25 skilled wrestlers, including formidable contenders like Shota Umino, Kenta, and Taichi.

The tournament, scheduled to unfold from March 6 to March 20, 2024, will witness Perry’s eagerly awaited return match on March 6. He was set to face off against Shota Umino, making this bout his first since the All In event last year.

During this week’s NJPW event as part of the New Japan Cup Tournament, Jack Perry made his in-ring debut against Shota Umino. It was an evenly contested match where both competitors gave it their all to pick up the win. However, Jack Perry ultimately bested Umino with the help of Ren Narita and was triumphant in his NJPW in-ring debut.
