AEW experienced notable surprises this year already, with one of them being Deonna Purrazzo’s debut for the company back in January. She wasted no time and started feuding with Toni Storm, culminating in a match at AEW Revolution, where Purrazzo lost. In light of her controversial loss, Purrazzo has finally broken her silence.

As seen during the AEW Revolution pay-per-view, Deonna Purrazzo challenged Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship. Fans were heavily invested in the match for good reason.

However, the match ended in controversy after Luther distracted the referee while Deonna Purrazzo locked in her submission hold and tapped out Toni Storm. However, Storm took advantage of the distraction and hit her finishing move for the win.

Deonna Purrazzo took to Twitter and made it clear that she tapped out Toni Storm, thus breaking silence on her shocking loss.
