Tony Khan and his upstart promotion, AEW are firing on all cylinders to deliver a highly competent and excellent product each week on their television programming.

The company recently produced one of its most exhilarating pay-per-view shows in history, AEW Revolution in Greensboro Coliseum which had a stacked match card and was headlined by the farewell match of one of the greatest icons in the business, Sting.

Not only that but it was also announced during the show that the promotion is set to bring new pay-per-view show, AEW Dynasty on Sunday, April 21st at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis Missouri.

The pre-sale for the show was announced for this Wednesday and the general ticket sale for the following Friday. Moreover, Wrestle Tix took to their X to outline AEW’s past history with the venue set to present AEW Dynasty, while also mentioning the best draws done by the promotion there.

“The last time they were at this venue was for a Collision taping on 1/20/2024, drawing an estimated 2,815 distributed tickets. The best number they achieved in this building was for Rampage on 11/5/2021, drawing an estimated 5,333 distributed tickets, which was also their debut in the building. This market was originally promised Full Gear in 2021 before it was moved to Minneapolis, MN. With a stage, the max capacity is roughly 7K. Without a stage, it’s around 9K.”

Top stars such as Samoa Joe, Timeless Toni Storm, Christian Cage, and Billy Gunn have been advertised for AEW Dynasty with more to be announced in the coming weeks. So we can surely expect yet another instant classic show from AEW much like Revolution.
