Tony Khan has been known to sign some of the most enthralling and remarkable talents from all over the globe to his AEW roster. However, it seems that AEW star Lance Archer is heading towards talks for a new contract to stay among the locker room members.

Archer signed with the promotion back in February 2020 and went on to win the men’s Casino Battle Royal at the All Out pay-per-view in the same year. Moreover, he has also participated in various matches for NJPW as part of their partnership with AEW.

Furthermore, he was also in action at their recent pay-per-view, AEW Revolution as part of the 8-man All-Star Scramble match. But fell short of winning the bout, as Wardlow claimed the win.

During recent interview with WrestlePurists, Lance Archer noted that everything was good in regards to his AEW status and noted that he was going to have some contract negotiations pretty soon.

“I mean, there could be some renegotiations pretty soon (for my AEW deal) but, everything’s good right now.”

Despite the catastrophic injury he suffered to his neck years ago, Lance Archer has proven himself to be a top prospect for AEW ever since his arrival, so it will be interesting to see how his upcoming contract talks pan out and if it would lead to an extended relationship with the company.
