The audience in the Greensboro Coliseum witnessed one of the most enthralling debuts in the history of AEW, as the dynamic Will Ospreay made a successful debut against one of his own cohort of the Don Callis family, Konosuke Takeshita.

Will Ospreay was announced to become an official member of the AEW roster a while back and he arrived in the All Elite landscape last week on Dynamite, where things almost took a heated turn between himself and Takeshita, despite being on the same side.

The two exhilarating superstars kicked off the competition on tonight’s AEW Revolution show, leaving behind their same alliance for that extended period standing against each other in the squared circle.

Moreover, the match itself was an excellent display of a classic technical wrestling bout that went all over ringside, with both men hitting each other with everything in their arsenal and the fans erupting with a ‘This is Awesome’ chant. Moreover, the entire match saw multiple near falls, breath-taking moments, and even a spot that looked like Ospreay badly hurt his lower back.

However, the final moments of the bout saw Will Ospreay hitting his finishing maneuver on Takeshita to win the bout. He received a huge ovation from the AEW fans and was even greeted by one of his best friends, Kyle Fletcher at the end of the showdown.

Will Ospreay made a huge statement on his first night as an official AEW in-ring competitor at the expense of his own faction member. So it would be interesting to see what the future holds next for The Aerial Assasin in this chapter of his wrestling career.
