Stone Cold Steve Austin’s status as one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time has earned him a spot in WWE 2K games each year. However, in a promotional activity for the latest installment, WWE 2K24, Austin issued a warning to singing sensation Post Malone.

In video posted by WWE Games on Instagram, the rapper was heard talking about laying a beatdown on the Texas Rattlesnake in WWE 2K24.

“Stone Cold Steve Austin … I heard you talk a lot of mess backstage and I’m here to kick your sweet a** all around the ring here on WWE 2K24 … Nerd”

Steve Austin was not going to take any of Post Malone’s supposed threats and opened a can of verbal smackdown, warning him to stick to singing songs only or there would be major repercussions.

“See that wasn’t a mess, that was trash Post, that was trash, I was talking trash and that will become true and you are so nervous you can’t even speak right. That’s how you are scared of Stone Cold Steve Austin and that’s all I got to say about that. You better stick to singing songs or you are going to get your a** whooped by yours truly and that’s all I got to say about that … Posty.”

Post Malone has not only curated the soundtrack for WWE 2K24 but has also joined the game as playable character as part of their DLC edition. While this was an exciting back-and-forth to watch, it would be even more interesting to see Austin and Malone actually come face-to-face to raise some hell together.

Do you think Post Malone should be scared by Stone Cold Steve Austin’s warning? Will he stop the verbal tirade against Steve Austin in the future? Sound off in the comments!
