The Rock garnered attention when Cody Rhodes temporarily extended an offer for his WrestleMania 40 spot. However, the dynamics changed after the WrestleMania press conference, during which Seth Rollins expressed intense emotions and openly voiced his negative views about The Rock. Rollins also just declared that The Rock in his prime couldn’t lace up his boots.

Seth Rollins didn’t mince words, accusing The Rock of abusing his power and urging him to return to Hollywood. Rollins has been unequivocal in expressing his opposition to The Rock’s prolonged presence in WWE.

While speaking with Inside The Ropes, Seth Rollins was questioned about the possibility of facing The Rock in the squared circle. Rollins didn’t hold back, casting doubt on The Rock’s in-ring capabilities after a decade of inactivity.

Rollins emphasized being in his prime and operating at a level surpassing anything The Rock has achieved, stating that The Rock couldn’t match up even in the best years of his career, let alone now.

“Look, he’s [The Rock] a specimen. He’s a specimen, but he hasn’t had a match in a decade. John Cena, two times at WrestleMania. Had a couple of stuff, you know, tag matches, some appearances, here and there. Look, I’m on a different level right now. I’m in my prime. I’m operating at a level so high above any level he’s ever operated at. He could not lace my boots in the best years of his career. Let alone, right now.”

Seth Rollins also made it clear Cody Rhodes won’t face The Rock alone. We’ll need to wait and see how WWE proceeds with the storyline involving Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the upcoming weeks, especially as their feud with The Bloodline remains a significant point of interest leading up to WrestleMania 40.
