Countdown To TNA No Surrender 2024 Kickoff Pre-Show (2/23/2024):

The Countdown To TNA No Surrender 2024 Kickoff Pre-Show opens up with Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcoming the fans. Speedball Mountain make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night. The Rascalz then make their way down to the ring.

Countdown To No Surrender Kickoff Pre-Show Match: Speedball Mountain (“Speedball” Mike Bailey and Trent Seven) vs. The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz)

The match starts off with The Rascalz diving through the ropes, taking out Bailey and Seven on the outside. Bailey then gets stuck, which allows the Rascalz to land a number of strikes. Seven is then tagged into the match and he hits Miguel with a modified powerslam. Bailey then hits Wentz with a springboard Moonsault. Bailey then delivers a Shooting Star Press on Miguel, but the match is not over. Wentz then hits an assisted double foot stomp on Bailey, but Seven breaks the pin. Miguel then distracts the referee as Steve Maclin appears out of nowhere to hit a chop block on Bailey. Wentz then locks in a submission hold on Bailey to secure the victory.

The winner of the Tag Team Match, The Rascalz!

Frankie Kazarian then cuts a promo ahead of. his match against Eric Young later tonight. Kazarian says he isn’t in the business of having meaningless matches and that is why he went to Director of Authority Santino Marella and made his match against Eric Young a #1 Contenders Match for the TNA World Championship.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is The System vs. Intergalactic Jet Setters.

Countdown To No Surrender Kickoff Pre-Show Match: The System (Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers) vs. Intergalactic Jet Setters (Kushida and Kevin Knight)

The match starts off with Knight taking both members of The System down before hitting an arm-drag on Edwards. Kushida is then tagged in after a shoulder pumphandle, but gets hits with a back elbow from Myers before Edwards enters the match. Kushida then delivers a hiptoss on Edwards, but is unable to tag Knight in because Knight has been taken out on the apron. Kushida then nails Edwards with a punt to his right arm.

Knight then enters the match and delivers punches and kicks to both members of The System before taking them down with a dive. Knight then hits a flat-footed top rope rana on Myers for a 2 count. Kushida then put Myers on his shoulders and Knight hits Myers with a dropkick. Myers then hits an impaler DDT on Knight. Edwards then hits a backpack stunner on Knight before Myers nails Knight with a diving elbow for a 2 count. Myers and Edwards then hit Knight with a Roster Cut Boston Knee Party combination for the 1-2-3.

The Countdown To TNA No Surrender 2024 Kickoff Pre-Show then comes to a close and we begin the TNA No Surrender 2024 PPV.

TNA No Surrender 2024 Results (2/23/2024):

TNA No Surrender 2024 opens up with a video package highlighting all of tonight’s major matches. Eric Young makes his way down to the ring for the opening matchup of the PPV. Frankie Kazarian then makes his way down to the ring as well.

TNA World Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Eric Young vs. Frankie Kazarian

The match starts off with Kazarian getting an advantage on Young in a tie-up and taking Young down. Kazarian then hits a back suplex on Young before kicking him down. Kazarian then attempted a blind-dive springboard leg drop, but Young thwarts then attempt and lands a Roode Bomb for a 2 count. Young then delivers a diving elbow off the top rope and Kazarian answers him back with a Jerry Lynn-style slingshot apron leg drop. Kazarian then went for his chicken wing finisher, but instead hits Young with a cutter for a 2 count. Kazarian then hits a backstabber and a Fade to Black to Young, but is still unable to put away Young. Young then hits Kazarian with the Crucifix to secure the win.

After the match, Kazarian then brutally assaults the referee before the situation is handled by the other referees and security.

We then head backstage, where Gia Miller interviews The Grizzled Young Vets. James Drake and Zack Gibson say they will win in tonight’s Best of 3 Series finale against TNA World Tag Team Champions ABC.

Westside Gunn is then shown at ringside for TNA No Surrender 2024 and we get the entrances for the next match, which is a TNA World Tag Team Championship Best Of 3 Series Finale.

TNA World Tag Team Championship Best Of 3 Series Match 3: ABC (Ace Austin and Chris Bey) (c) vs. Grizzled Young Vets (James Drake and Zack Gibson)

The match starts off with Gibson going after Austin’s arm, which was hurt prior to match two. Drake then comes in and gets hits with a high/low and a Click Click Boom double team splash/leg drop. Bey then gets hit with a double-team stun gun. Gibson then hits an outside-in suplex before Drake goes after the throat of Bey with a chinlock.

Bey then hits a missile dropkick and wanted to tag Austin in, but Drake sends Austin off the apron to prevent the tag. Drake then chokes Bey out with a scarf. Bey then hits a neckbreaker and tags in Ace Austin. Austin then gets some offense in until he was double-teamed. Austin then hits a moonsault, then tags Bey in. Bey then hits a frog splash. Bey then hits a cutter and Austin hits a corkscrew senton, but the Grizzled Young Vets is able to lock in submissions. The Grizzled Young Vets then hit a doomsday device suicide dive lariat on Austin.

Bey is then alone against both members of the GYV and kicks them both, then hits a famouser on Gibson. Gibson then traps Bey in the corner for a draping lung blower and a coast to coast dropkick from Drake. ABC then hits their 1-2-Sweet finisher to secure the win.

We then head backstage, where Steve Maclin is hyping up The Rascalz until “Speedball” Mike Bailey and Trent Seven try to ambush them. Referees then comes in and prevent a. possible brawl.

We then get the entrances for the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: PCO vs. Kon

The match starts off with PCO and Kon brawling with each other and hitting each other with clotheslines. PCO then goes for a suicide dive cannonball, but Kon avoids it and PCO hits the floor hard. Kon then hits PCO with an apron chokeslam. PCO then goes for a Deanimator, but misses. Kon then grabs a steel chair and hits PCO and that is a disqualification.

The match ends with PCO as the winner due to a DQ.

After the match, Kon continues his assault on PCO. Kon snaps PCO’s neck and buries him under a pile of chairs. Kon then attacks the timekeeper as PCO rises once again. PCO then brings the fight to Kon with repeated steel chair shots. Kon then bounces back, dropping PCO spine-first on the ramp. Kon then handcuffs PCO to the entrance tunnel before wrapping a steel chair around his neck and snapping it once again. PCO then roars as Kon heads to the back.

We then head backstage, where Shelley talks about how he doesn’t want Sabin out there because he is in the main event. Sabin then demands that the Jet Setters absolutely can’t throw the towel in and Shelley tells them to not throw it in no matter what.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship Match.

TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship Match: Decay (Havok and Rosemary) (c) vs. MK Ultra (Masha Slamovich and Killer Kelly)

The match starts off with Slamovich and Havok duking it out as Rosemary and Kelly spill. to the outside. Havok then hits a backbreaker on Slamovich and tags out. Masha then stomps on Rosemary while the referee is distracted. Kelly then gets the tag and Masha slams her on Rosemary. Rosemary then takes Kelly down and they take turns rising up on each other. Masha then breaks it up and MK Ultra hits a high-low. Masha then goes for her Snowplow finisher on Rosemary, but Rosemary counters with a slam.

Kelly and Havok are now in the match and Havok headbutts Kelly and then hits a running hip attack on both members of MK Ultra. Kelly then chops Havok, but Havok drops her with a DVD. Decay then hits the combo sit out bomb, but Masha breaks the pinfall attempt. Masha then tags herself in and counters Rosemary’s spear with a Snowplow to score the win.

The winner and new TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions, MK Ultra!

After the match, MK Ultra nails Havok with the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Titles and stomps on Rosemary until Dani Luna and Jody Threat make their way down to the ring to make the save. MK Ultra then retreats.

We then head backstage, where The System discuss their game plan. TNA World Champion Moose says they cannot throw in the towel “under no circumstances.”

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander vs. Simon Gotch

The match starts off with Gotch flipping Alexander off before they grapple on the mat. Both men then trade headlocks until Alexander switching things up and gets the ankle lock on Gotch, but Gotch is able to reach the bottom rope. Both men then trade uppercuts and forearm strikes. Gotch then hits a running senton on Alexander’s back. Gotch then goes to Matt Rehwoldt for a Vaudevillians throwback, then hits a running elbow drop on Alexander on the floor.

Gotch then traps Alexander in a scissor hold, but Alexander comes back with a series of German suplexes. Gotch then hits Alexander with a dropkick to his neck, then goes for another senton on the apron, but Alexander moves out of the way and knocks Gotch down with a running crossbody to the floor. Both men then trade blows in the middle of the ring.

Alexander then hits a big exploder suplex. Gotch then traps Alexander in a choke hold that knocks his head gear off. Alexander then escapes and counters the move into an ankle lock. Alexander then hits Gotch with a backbreaker followed by his C4 Spike finisher for the win.

We then head backstage, where AJ Francis approaches Rich Swann and tells him that just because they’re opponents this Thursday on TNA iMPACT! that doesn’t mean they have to be enemies.

We then get the entrances for the next match, which is a No Surrender Match for the TNA World Championship.

TNA World Championship No Surrender Rules Match: Moose (c) vs. Alex Shelley

The match starts off with Shelley hitting several punches on Moose and diving forearms in the corner. Moose then goes for a snake eyes, but Shelley blocks that and turns it into a Fujiwara armbar. Moose then hits Shelley with a big boot on the floor and a powerbomb on the apron. Moose then puts Shelley in a ringpost bow and arrow.

Moose then looks for a slam through the announce table, but Shelley stops Moose’s attempt by hitting him with an eye rake and Shelley takes Moose down on the floor. Shelley then works on the left knee of Moose until he is kicked into the post. Shelley then removes the protective covering on the turnbuckle and tortures the fingers of Moose to try and get a win.

Moose then places Shelley’s hands in the turnbuckle and hits him with a steel chair. Shelley then recovers and sends Moose into the ropes. Shelley then uses a kendo stick on the left leg of Moose before swinging the kendo stick and using the kendo stick for a half-crab. Myers then breaks that up by getting on the apron and Edwards using the stick.

Moose then hits a uranage on Shelley before Myers tosses a trash can in that Moose set for a superplex. Shelley avoids that and sends Moose on the trash can with a powerbomb. Shelley then puts Moose in a figure four that Moose escapes by using the kendo stick. Moose then puts Shelley down with a massive chop. Moose then goes after Shelley, but Shelley reverses that with a Fujiwara armbar, then a Border City Stretch.

Moose then escapes the hold, but crashes through a table. Shelley then grabs a chain and puts it through the mouth of Moose while locking in the Border City Stretch before the System tries to get involved and Knight takes them out. Moose then spears Shelley with Kushida in the ring and Kushida leaves before Moose hits a second spear. Moose then hits a third spear hits using the chain on his shoulder. KUSHIDA then throws in the towel and Moose comes out of the match with the win.

Before the next match gets started, Ash By Elegance is shown sitting ringside as she will watch the TNA Knockouts World Championship showdown.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is the TNA Knockouts World Championship Match.

TNA Knockouts World Championship Match: Jordynne Grace (c) vs. Gisele Shaw

The match starts off with Shaw immediately leaving the ring and running around trying to escape Grace. Shaw goes for a clothesline, but gets thrown against the apron. Grace then hits a fallaway slam on the floor despite Shaw’s attempts to turn it around. Shaw then kicks Grace repeatedly, but Grace hits a number of body slams on Shawn. Grace then places Shaw on the top rope, but Shaw counters it by driving Grace face first into the canvas.

Shaw then flies off the tope rope and hits a splash on Grace. Grace then hits a senton to Shaw on the apron. Shaw then hits Grace with a Spanish Fly on the floor. Shaw then goes for a pinfall several times. Grace then hits a spinebuster on Shaw. Shaw then hits a knee strike on Grace, but Grace grabs the rope. Shaw then argues with the ref, allowing Grace time to recover.

Grace then gets up and both women trade strikes. Shaw then superkicks Grace and goes for a cutter, but Grace evades the move. Grace then hits her Juggernaut Driver finisher on Shaw for the 1-2-3.

After the match, Ash By Elegance leaves the iMPACT! Zone with her personal concierge.

We then head backstage, where Jake Something says that for the first time since 2005, an X-Division Championship Match will main event a PPV. Something then says 2024 will be the year he becomes X-Division Champion.

We then get the entrances of the main event, which is the TNA X Division Championship Match.

TNA X Division Championship Match: Chris Sabin (c) vs. Mustafa Ali

The match starts off with both men staring each other down. Ali then backs Sabin into the corner. Both men then trade arm drags and reach a stalemate. Ali then hits Sabin with a headlock takedown. Both men then hits each other with dropkicks and are back at a stalemate. Ali then teases being in Sabin’s head. Sabin then applies a headlock to Ali on the mat. Sabin then lands some right jabs on Ali until Ali slides out. Ali then pulls Sabin into the ropes, but Sabin hits Ali with a headscissors takedown from the apron that sends Ali back-first to the floor.

Ali then hits a 450 splash on Sabin. Ali then puts an STF on Sabin and stomps on Sabin’s arm. Sabin then hits a German Suplex on Ali and both men trade kicks before falling down. Sabin then goes up top, but Ali hits a chop on Sabin’s chest. Sabin then counters with a tornado DDT. Sabin then goes for a crossface, but Ali crawls to the bottom rope. Sabin then lands several punches on Ali.

Sabin then shoves Ali off the turnbuckle, but Ali lands on his feet. Ali then goes for a 450, but rolls through when Sabin moves. Sabin then side-steps and Ali runs into the second turnbuckle. Sabin then dropkicks Ali and Ali’s personal security checks on him. Sabin then jumps off the top rope and lands on Ali’s security. The Good Hands are then seen on the ramp wearing Ali shirts.

Both men then trade kicks inside the ring. Sabin then hits the Good Hands. Ali then goes for the roll up, but Sabin kicks out. Sabin then hits Ali with a Clothesline from Hell. Sabin then hits his Cradle Shock finisher, but doesn’t get the win. Ali then hits a sunset flip bomb to Sabin in the corner. Ali then goes back up the top rope and hits his 450 splash finisher for the win.

The winner and new TNA X Division Champion, Mustafa Ali!

After the match, Ali celebrates with the TNA X-Division Title as No Surrender comes to a close.
