The Rock made headlines when Cody Rhodes temporarily offered him his WrestleMania 40 spot. However, the situation shifted after the WrestleMania press conference, where Seth Rollins displayed heated emotions and revealed his unfavorable opinion of The Rock. Therefore it comes as no surprise he called The Rock an afterthought in WWE.

Seth Rollins also called out The Rock for abusing his power and even told The Rock to run back to Hollywood. Rollins has made it abundantly clear he just doesn’t want The Rock in WWE for a long time.

While speaking to The Mail, Seth Rollins talked about The Rock returning and becoming a big part of WWE programming. Rollins made it clear he wasn’t a fan of The Rock and called him an afterthought.

”Look, I’m not 14-years-old anymore. I’m 38-years-old, I’m a full grown man, I’m the WWE heavyweight champion.”

”Yeah, he’s gonna open his mouth, run his mouth, say the same old crap he’s been saying for the last two decades because he can’t come up with any new material. Bottom line is, he is an afterthought. This is our story, our era. We’ve built the last decade of WWE, this Elimination Chamber show, this WrestleMania will be the biggest ever; we built it without him.”

”He’s been off doing his own thing and I’m not taking anything away from him; he laid the groundwork for it but we built it, man. We built the wall, we built the roof, we’ve got this sorted. He can come in and have a little tea but we will shoe him on the way out. Happy to have him, happier to see him go.”

Seth Rollins is set to make an appearnace the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event on February 24th. We will have to wait and see when he and The Rock will have yet another confrontation on WWE television.
