Since his sudden departure from TNA, Scott D’Amore has made numerous headlines worldwide. The former president of TNA Wrestling was fired from his role which disheartened numerous stars and millions of TNA Wrestling fans.

However, D’Amore getting fired from the company came after he wasn’t on the same page with Len Asper, CEO of Anthem Sports. As per a previous report, Asper and D’Amore didn’t think alike when it came to the future of TNA Wrestling.

This was followed by an update stating that D’Amore tried to make purchase offer for TNA, which was passed on. However, no numbers were revealed in the report, as of now. A new update from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed some inside details regarding D’Amore’s departure.

As per the report, the former president of TNA Wrestling offered $10 million in addition to the existing debts of the company. However, without making a counter offer, Asper chose to reject the offer and take TNA in his own hands. The report also states that D’Amore valued the company around $7 million to $12 million while making his purchase offer.

“One noted for clarity that it was $10 million plus assuming all existing debts the company had as well as the trade debts, so that Anthem itself would walk away with $10 million in the bank out of the deal. The D’Amore group believed the company value was between $7 million and $12 million. Anthem turned down the offer cold without a counter offer made.”

Since Scott D’Amore’s departure from TNA, numerous stars have addressed his contribution to the company. While D’Amore’s involvement in the company’s development cannot be neglected, his future in the wrestling industry still remains to be uncertain.
