Stu Grayson has been with the company since 2019 when he joined Evil Uno to form The Dark Order, but left AEW because he wanted to take on new opportunities. While Grayson came back, he has been absent for a while. In spite of that, Grayson is still under contract with AEW.

Following his AEW return back in 2022, Grayson eventually parted ways with The Dark Order and ended up partnering with The Righteous in ROH. However, he has been absent from AEW television for several months now.

According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, it was reported that Stu Grayson remains under contract with AEW during his prolonged absence. A reason for his absence was not provided either.

”Stu Grayson is still under AEW contract, according to those we spoke to in AEW. We weren’t given a reason for his absence.”
