The Rock has been making waves since his return, briefly taking Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania 40 spot. Following the resolution of that matter, The Rock made a significant impact on SmackDown this week, and it seems that his promo segment garnered considerable viewership on YouTube.

In the final segment of this week’s Friday Night SmackDown, The Rock explicitly declared his alliance with The Bloodline. He also took jab at WWE fans, expressing his disapproval of their preference for Cody Rhodes headlining WrestleMania 40 instead of witnessing his showdown with Roman Reigns.

The Rock’s promo segment on Friday Night SmackDown this week has received 1,751,331 views in 13 hours, which is simply insane. To compare this to the runner-up segment, Kevin Owens qualifying for the Elimination Chamber match has received only 452,000 views so far.

The Rock also had an out-of-character interaction with fans following Friday Night SmackDown. It remains to be seen how The Rock and Bloodline’s angle will continue to develop as we slowly approach WrestleMania 40.
