The Rock has become a regular fixture on WWE television programming ever since the road to WrestleMania 40 began. However, The Great One will also be spotted at one of the most exhilarating racing events of all time taking place on Sunday.

The People’s Champion took to his Instagram to announce that he has been invited to the Dayton 500 to be the Grand Marshal. For the unaware, the Dayton 500 is the annual NASCAR Cup Series motor race pitting some of the best car drivers in the world.

The Rock would have the honor of being the public leader on race day as part of his duties as the Grand Marshal for the Dayton 500.

Man I’m pumped to be the Grand Marshal for THIS SUNDAY’s ELECTRIFYING @DAYTONA 500! The ENERGY, the MANA, with the KINGS of the road!! I’ve always had massive respect for the drivers and this sport— can’t wait!!
Truly honored to give the command, “Drivers start your engines”

ps – last time I tried to squeeze my big 270lb ass into a NASCAR car, I got stuck… so LFG 😂🏎️☝🏾.”

Apart from his multiple ventures, The Great One has become a part of WWE’s festivities as they march forward to Philadelphia in April for the Grandest Stage of them all, WrestleMania 40. He is currently aligned with his cousin, the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns amidst their heated rivalry with Cody Rhodes.

The Samoan duo is set to appear on this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown to address the WrestleMania situation after Reigns vs Rhodes was made official for The Shows of Shows.

What do you think The Rock and Roman Reigns would say on SmackDown? Sound off in the comments!
