Bayley won the Royal Rumble bout last month, thus earning her ticket for a championship opportunity at WrestleMania 40. She then Iyo Sky as her opponent at WrestleMania 40, but she wasn’t at the kickoff press event or even mentioned for that matter. Mickie James didn’t fail to notice this snub as she called out WWE for the same.

CM Punk joined the panel at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff Press Event, resulting in chaos. The Rock turned heel when Cody Rhodes replaced him in the main event against Roman Reigns. Meanwhile, Becky Lynch confronted Rhea Ripley, strongly hinting at a WrestleMania match.

A notable absence during the entire commotion was Bayley, whose WrestleMania 40 match is already confirmed. CM Punk would then demand respect for Bayley after her snub.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Mickie James talked about WWE snubbing Bayley from the WrestleMania 40 kickoff press conference and called out WWE for the same, stating that it was a slight to Bayley.

“I would’ve been a bit slighted. I felt like it was a bit of a slight in a sense, not just to the women’s division but to her. She’s probably the best female worker there. I think that she’s been a constant [on programming].”

Izzy also teased being in Bayley’s corner for WrestleMania 40. We will have to wait and see how Bayley and Iyo Sky’s feud will be booked in the coming weeks, as Damage CTRL is effectively over, especially with Dakota Kai coming to Bayley’s aid.
