Mustafa Ali announced back in September that he is no longer working with WWE and in the months since then, Ali has been working hard to better himself. It has finally paid off as Ali won his first championship after his WWE exit last year.

Following his WWE release, Mustafa Ali announced his own World Tour campaign and he has consistently been putting on solid matches in companies all around the world, ranging from cities in Europe to The United States.

Mustafa Ali has been tearing it up in the independent circuit in many ways. As such, the former WWE Superstar recently competed at Dreamwave Pro Wrestling and became the new Dreamwave Alternative Champion, marking his first title win since his WWE release last year.

Mustafa Ali’s TNA in-ring debut was also confirmed recently, where he will be squaring off against Chris Sabin for the X-Divison Championship at TNA’s No Surrender pay-per-view, so we’ll have to see if he will add another belt to his collection soon.
