Bryan Danielson and Zack Sabre Jr. have been intertwined in a longstanding feud that gained steam last year and it came to a head at NJPW’s New Beginning in Osaka. After Danielson’s loss, he challenged Sabre Jr. to a trilogy fight with a special stipulation.

The two squared off against each other at NJPW x AEW Forbidden Door back in 2023, where the two had an incredible technical showdown. In the end, Danielson picked up the win.

During NJPW’s New Beginning in Osaka event, Bryan Danielson squared off against Zack Sabre Jr. in a technical masterpiece of a match. In the end, Sabre Jr. countered the Busaiku knee and secured a pin, thus bringing their current standing to 1-1 in singles competition.

In an effort to settle things once and for all, Bryan Danielson has issued a challenge to ZSJ for a two-out-of-three falls bout on neutral ground.

“I think I might want one more. I beat him in AEW, he beat me in New Japan. I say we do two out of three falls, somewhere on neutral ground.”

We will have to wait and see whether Zack Sabre Jr. will end up accepting Bryan Danielson’s challenge, as fans would more than love to see the two duke it out one more time.
