Tonight on SmackDown, Nick Aldis broke the news that there would be a men’s Elimination Chamber match to determine who would face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40.

The show kicked off with the first qualifying match between AJ Styles and Drew McIntyre which was eventually won by Drew McIntyre due to distraction from LA Knight.

In the main event, Orton was set to go one-on-one with Sami Zayn. Prior to the match, Sami cut a passionate promo on the hurdles he has to overcome in order to go to WrestleMania 40. This motivated Sami Zayn who came out swinging against Orton. Orton looked to be moving a bit gingerly but that didn’t stop him from hitting the RKO out of nowhere for the win.

Following the match, Orton came face-to-face with Drew McIntyre in an intense showdown. Both men will meet each other inside the Elimination Chamber match.
