The Rock is currently not everyone’s favorite after what transpired on last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Prior to their potential WrestleMania 40 clash, The Rock and Roman Reigns have been accused of taking steroids.

During the recent Friday Night SmackDown, The Rock confronted Roman Reigns, intensifying the episode’s conclusion. Cody Rhodes introduced The Great One, relinquishing his WrestleMania 40 title shot and causing outrage among fans.

Chael Sonnen, a retired MMA star known for his exceptional trash-talking skills, recently shared his thoughts on The Rock’s WWE return on SmackDown and his face-off with The Tribal Chief.

While speaking on his podcast, Chael Sonnen didn’t hold back in his commentary on The Rock and Roman Reigns, acknowledging their impressive appearances but accusing them of using steroids. He likened the face-off to an old leather boot versus a new shiny shoe, suggesting they both injected D-Bal in private to maintain their physique.

“So, you’ve got this chance for a great angle but now you’re going to have an old leather boot take on a new shiny shoe, and that’s what they look like when they come face to face. Like, they both respected their careers enough to stick a needle full of D-Bal in their ass.”

“I appreciate they look good, but you got an old wrinkly shoe and you got a new shiny boot, and there was no way around it, and then if you got the old wrinkly shoe, there’s one thing you can’t do, there’s one thing that you cannot do. You do this D-Bal in private, right? Of course you did, ’cause you don’t want people to know, want to look a certain way. You don’t want them to know, you do it in private.”

The Rock and Roman Reigns will be having a face-off during the WrestleMania 40 kickoff event in Las Vegas. We’ll have to wait and see how the event will turn out.

What’s your view on this story concerning The Rock and Roman Reigns? Do you feel there is truth to these accusations?
