Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker had been teaming up for the past few weeks as part of the Dusty Rhodes Cup tournament. They ended up winning at NXT Vengeance Day and now Corbin commented on their huge victory.

NXT Vengeance Day began with the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament, featuring a strong performance from both teams. Hayes and Williams initially dominated, but Corbin and Breakker made a comeback.

The intense match resulted in both Bron and Trick Williams being busted open, and Breakker getting entangled in the ropes in a near-fatal moment. Despite the challenges, Breakker composed himself and ultimately secured the victory with spear on Carmelo Hayes.

While speaking in an NXT Vengeance Day Exclusive, Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker shared their post-victory feelings. Corbin expressed satisfaction, praising Breakker as a wrecking ball and a force to be reckoned with.

“I mean, I feel good. Are you okay? Look at this, this man is a wrecking ball, freight train, running people over, putting them down. Now listen, months ago, when I asked him to be my partner, I was in a little rough spot. I needed a partner. I needed a partner I knew could just cause mayhem and be absolute destruction out there. That’s what he is. Nothing can stop this man. He cut ‘Melo in half tonight. We got our hands raised. We’re the Dusty Cup Champions. Listen, last night, we went out boot-shopping.”

Describing their journey, Corbin highlighted the significance of the Dusty Cup and how they honored wrestling legend The Dream by purchasing boots. He emphasized the importance of the trophy, planning to display it in his whiskey closet as a tribute to their achievement.

”We bought thousand-dollar boots because my man The Dream, who has sat with me and given me hours and hours and hours of knowledge, his boots are sitting on this. This trophy means more to me than you could ever know because The Dream was an idol to people like us. I got to work with him every day. We bought boots in his honor. Now, we have the most important boots in the world on a trophy with our names on it, and it’s going to my house right inside the whiskey closet. It’s a beautiful, big whiskey closet.”

We will have to wait and see what the future holds for Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker, as they have proven themselves to be quite a formidable team over the past few weeks now.
