Wade Barrett will reportedly step in as the replacement commentator for WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2024, filling in for Booker T, who announced that he would be absent from the event and NXT TV for the next couple of weeks due to a medical procedure.

Corey Brennan of Fightful broke the news on Twitter, stating that Wade Barrett would be on the commentary team for NXT Vengeance Day. However, it has not been confirmed whether this change will extend to NXT TV, as Booker T is expected to be temporarily absent.

“I’ve been told Wade Barrett will be on the call tonight for #NXTVengeanceDay.”

“Booker T announced earlier today he would be missing the show and several weeks of television.”
