WWE has undergone some recent adjustments within its commentary team.

The SmackDown play-by-play commentator, Kevin Patrick, has been relieved of his duties, making way for the return of Michael Cole. However, it’s essential to note that this change is not set in stone, as WWE intends to introduce a new play-by-play announcer for SmackDown in the near future.

During Monday’s Raw broadcast, Pat McAfee took over the role of color commentator, and it appears that this alteration will be a permanent one.

According to reports from PWInsider, the plan going forward is for Wade Barrett to collaborate with Corey Graves on the SmackDown commentary team. Graves is poised to assume the position of the lead announcer, while Barrett will continue to serve as a color commentator.
