The American Nightmare entered the Men’s Royal Rumble match last night with a lot of hope and determination to prevail. He would end up eliminating top stars such as Gunther and finally CM Punk in order to punch his ticket to WrestleMania 40.
After the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event went off the air, new footage revealed Cody Rhodes celebrating with WWE Hall of Famer DDP while Rhodes was making his way to the back. It was a wholesome interaction as DDP was clearly proud of The American Nightmare.
Cody Rhodes also apologized to fans following his epic win at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. He even honored The Elite following his monumental victory as well.
Roman Reigns has already reacted to Cody Rhodes wining the Royal Rumble match. It remains to be seen whether Cody Rhodes will finally be able to finish the story this time around, as fans really want it to happen now.
