Andrade’s AEW contract status was clarified after Tony Khan confirmed that he would not be sticking with AEW, officially making him a free agent. Andrade waited for the right moment and made his return during the Royal Rumble this week. Now, he has commented on his return.

During AEW Worlds End last year, Andrade lost to Miro in singles bout, which ended up becoming his final match in the promotion. Tony Khan then gave ton of praise to Andrade in the post-event press conference.

Andrade finally made his return to WWE during the Men’s Royal Rumble match, where he entered at number 4. Andrade was ultimately eliminated by Bronson Reed after lasting twenty-three minutes in the match.

While speaking during backstage interview, Andrade was asked about his feelings after returning to WWE. Andrade made it clear he was happy to be back and further stated that no one stopping him this time.

How I feel? Happy. I’m happy to be here, be back. I needed to leave to remember who I was. But now? I am back and I know who he is. But remember, now? Nobody is stopping me.

We will have to wait and see how Andrade will be booked in WWE now that he is back. Considering how well he was treated in NXT under Triple H, there’s a high chance things will work out for him on the main roster this time around.

What’s your opinion on Andrade’s WWE comeback? What do you think is next for him in WWE? Sound off in the comments below!
