WWE’s Stance on Stephanie McMahon’s Return After Vince McMahon Exit

Stephanie McMahon had been part of WWE for several years and was always a delight for fans and pro wrestlers alike. McMahon resigned from her duties as co-CEO back last year. However, with Vince McMahon resigning from WWE, Stephanie McMahon’s return has become a topic of discussion.

In case you weren’t aware, Stephanie McMahon had been on a leave of absence to spend time with family when she returned to work amid the investigation into her father Vince McMahon back in 2022. Vince McMahon’s return to WWE as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors last year led to Stephanie McMahon’s resignation.

However, in an interesting turn of events, Vince McMahon stepped down from his role as the Executive Chairman of TKO Group Holdings. This came after he was slapped with sexual trafficking lawsuit and more from ex-WWE employee Janel Grant.

According to PWInsider, there is optimism within WWE that Vince McMahon’s resignation could pave the way for Stephanie McMahon’s return. However, it was also noted that the company’s internal dynamics have changed since Endeavor took ownership, making it unclear how Stephanie might seamlessly reintegrate into the current structure.

”There are some in WWE hoping Vince McMahon’s resignation opens the door for Stephanie McMahon to return.”

‘‘Although others spoken to cautioned that it’s not the same company that existed (internally) before Endeavor took over ownership so how she might potentially fit back in would not be immediately known.”

Stephanie McMahon was backstage at Survivor Series last year to have fun. We will have to wait and see if Stephanie McMahon will make her return to WWE now that her father is gone for good.
