Mercedes Mone’s future in professional wrestling is uncertain, with speculation suggesting a possible move to AEW. There are differing opinions on whether her presence in AEW would make a significant impact. Now more details about AEW’s plans for her debut have been revealed.

Following the breakdown of talks between WWE and Mercedes Mone, there is growing suspicion that she may have signed deal with AEW. Despite these rumors, as of now, she has not made an appearance on AEW television.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it is believed that Mercedes Mone will be starting soon. While Mercedes Mone was previously involved in acting, there is talk that her debut will be heavily promoted, and an announcement could be imminent.

”Mone was doing acting work but there is talk her debut will be played up extremely big and that announcement could be soon. She has been back training to return to the ring. Her coming to AEW was expected for months, even before they showed her at Wembley. But she did negotiate with WWE after that and while they were far apart on money, unless the contract is signed nothing is a lock.”

Mercedes Mone was also very busy a couple of weeks ago as she attended TNA’s Hard to Kill pay-per-view alongside Bayley, as they came to support Trinity. An AEW star also set the record straight regarding Mone’s debut rumors.

AEW is currently bolstering up their women’s division, as more and more talented female competitors are being added to the roster. Therefore, it remains to be seen what Mercedes Mone will decide in the end.
