The road to WrestleMania 40 is ready to fire away on all cylinders with the first stop being this Saturday at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. However, former WWE champion Big E has already pitched an idea for a unique match to take place at the Showcase of the Immortals.
The star we are talking about is none other than New Day member, Big E. During recent appearance on WWE’s The Bump, E suggested the idea of doing a Meaty Men Invitational match at WrestleMania 40.
As the name suggests and E stated, the match could feature some of the most girthy and masculine men facing each other in one match to determine the meatiest man on Earth.
“I had a conversation earlier with my man Woodsy and he floated an idea that I think is fascinating.Some sort of a Meaty Man Invitational I think to be held at WrestleMania, the first inaugural. Imagine, just the largest, most bulbous, most girthy men on the roster all gathering in one match to decide who is worthy of being crowned the meatiest man on God’s green Earth.”
Big E further envisioned his participation in the aforementioned Invitational match.
“Imagine me showing up to their homes, ringing their doorbells like Ed McMahon back in the day. Saying “hello, dear sir, you’ve been selected to take part in an event, a historic event, one that will not be forgotten. And, you will face all the men with chests that are ‘stend’… all the ‘stended’ chests, you know what I mean. You’ll be in the ring with all the men… the chest has to come out… You’ve been selected to be in this match and… you’ll have an opportunity to be in the first match ever to decide who will be the Meatiest Man. think that is a worthy match for WrestleMania.
Big E has been sidelined since 2022 with a serious career-ending neck injury with he himself mentioning that there is no timetable for his return. So if this match were to actually happen, we hope to see the New Day healthy and ready to compete.
