When Dragon Lee won the NXT North American Championship from Dominik Mysterio, he vowed to be a fighting champion like Wes Lee and defended the title whenever he could. However, this would be the cause of his downfall.

A couple of weeks ago, Oba Femi cashed in his Breakout contract and defeated Dragon Lee to become the new NXT North American Champion. The move came as a shock to so many people as no one expected Femi to win a title so quickly in the company.

Last week on NXT, while Oba Femi was addressing the NXT Universe, Dragon Lee interrupted him and demanded a rematch for the title. Femi, however, denied his request and said he will give him his answer tonight.

Lee went face-to-face with Scrypts tonight. After a back-and-forth contest, Lee was able to pick up the win. Following the match, Oba Femi, who was at ringside agreed to have the match against Dragon Lee at NXT Vengeance.
