Ricky Starks Gets Support for Future WWE Move

AEW has been the home to some of the most remarkable talents in the wrestling business. One of them surely is ‘The Absolute’ Ricky Starks who has made quite the impression with his in-ring acumen and overall presentation.

Starks has been viewed by many as one of the top prospects of this generation and a firm pillar of Tony Khan’s company. However, it is also a well-known fact that he is very close to former AEW star and one of WWE’s main flagship stars, Cody Rhodes.

The American Nightmare gave a massive endorsement to the AEW star during recent interview with Sports Illustrated. Moreover, he expressed his desire to see Ricky Starks join him in the global juggernaut in the future.

“My buddy Ricky Starks. I know he’s under contract so that’s not happening – but it’d be cool to see.”

Ricky Starks and Cody Rhodes have shared excellent comradery onscreen and offscreen. Moreover, Starks has also visited Rhodes at some WWE shows backstage despite working for their rival promotion.

Ricky Starks is one of the top attractions for AEW right now, while Cody Rhodes has been positioned as one of the mainstream stars on WWE television programming. Moreover, he was recently announced as the cover star for the WWE 2K24 video game. While they may be in separate companies at the moment, it would be interesting to see them reunite sometime in the future for some fast-paced and exciting in-ring action.
