Ex-WWE Star Alberto Del Rio Stages Thrilling Return to AAA in Recent Event

Former WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio remains a highly controversial figure in pro wrestling. Del Rio used to have a lot of fans but he has lost most of them by now. He wasn’t involved in any company for a while but that seems to have changed as he returned to AAA during their most recent event.

Alberto Del Rio’s fall from grace is something fans know all too well by now. He was facing several charges of assault, but they were dropped in the end. This included the time he was in relationship with Saraya, which was extremely toxic.

The last time fans saw Alberto Del Rio, he was competing at the Plantando Bandera event, which took place in high school gym. Many felt that was exactly where he belonged as well.

During AAA’s Orígenes show this week, Konnan and Vampiro had a promo segment. While the segment was going on, Alberto Del Rio made his shocking return to AAA to huge applause.

It is to be noted that TNA Wrestling is currently in a working relationship with Alberto Del Rio, as fans fear Del Rio might be used in TNA as well. Nonetheless, we’ll have to wait and see what Del Rio does in the coming weeks.
