RVD is regarded as one of the all-time greats as far as in-ring action and death-defying stunts are concerned. While RVD does get hailed as one of the best to ever do it, he still feels he’ll never get enough credit for his contributions to the business until his death.

The WWE Hall of Famer has showcased his skills in pro wrestling across the globe, participating in various promotions including WWE, ECW, Impact Wrestling, and currently AEW, among others.

A fan took to Twitter and commented on a video montage of RVD’s greatest moments in his career. The fan stated that Mr. Monday Night doesn’t get enough credit for how much he changed American Pro Wrestling.

My hot take is RVD don’t get enough credit for how much he changed American Pro Wrestling.”

The WWE Hall of Famer saw what the fan had to say and responded to the tweet, as he took to Twitter and stated that he believes he will only get the proper credit for his contributions to the business after his death.

‘I think the plan is to give me credit post humorous…humus…uhm, after I die. 🙂

RVD’s words paint a grim picture as fans feel there is certainly truth to what he said. Nevertheless, the WWE Hall of Famer continues to compete inside the squared circle on his own terms and that’s what matters to him.
