As WWE gears up for WrestleMania 40, the anticipation for the Royal Rumble intensifies, and with it comes the usual buzz of speculation surrounding surprise returns or debuts. This time, another former champion has thrown her name into the mix, adding excitement to the road leading to the Royal Rumble.

Jacqueline Moore, a wrestling veteran with a career spanning several promotions, including WCCW, WWE, WCW, TNA, and USWA, is no stranger to the squared circle. She made her pro wrestling debut in 1988 and has worn multiple hats in the industry, serving as a wrestler, manager, referee, agent/producer, and coach/trainer. Jacqueline’s illustrious career includes two Women’s Championship reigns, and she was honored with induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016.

In recent appearance on the Attitude Era Podcast, the “Pride of Tennessee” expressed her desire to make a WWE return. With unwavering confidence, she asserted that she still has something to offer in the ring. Jacqueline pointed out that if WWE could bring back legendary names like Trish Stratus, The Rock, and John Cena, then there’s no reason she couldn’t stage a comeback. She extended an open invitation to Vince McMahon or Triple H, urging them to make the call.

“I would hope [I could return to WWE]. Vince [McMahon], Triple H, somebody, y’all can call me. I still have a little left in the tank… I still have a little left in the tank. So, if you can return Trish [Stratus], and The Rock can return, and John Cena can return, Jacqueline can return too, you know? That’s what I’m talking about,” she stated.

Despite her absence from the ring since her participation in the 2018 Royal Rumble, where she entered at #21, Jacqueline remains a figure of immense respect in the wrestling world. She looks back on a career marked by 14 USWA Women’s Championship victories and has her eye on the current crop of talented female wrestlers. Among them, she singled out Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and Jade Cargill. Jacqueline noted that a match between Belair and Cargill would be a significant draw and praised Cargill’s impressive look, strength, and star power.

As the road to the Royal Rumble unfolds, wrestling fans are left to wonder whether Jacqueline’s call for a return will be answered. Her storied career and continued passion for the sport make her a compelling potential addition to WWE’s ever-evolving roster.

Do you believe that Jacqueline Moore’s desire for a WWE return is justified, and would you like to see her back in the ring? If so, who would you like to see her face in a match if she were to make a comeback? Let us know in the comments below.
