WWE Didn’t Pivot From Triple H’s Money In The Bank Announcement Plan

WWE hyped big announcement for Triple H during the company’s 2024 kick-off special on Peacock. Then he announced Money in the Bank’s location for Toronto that morning. This caused a lot of fans to wonder what was going on.

Near the end of the special, WWE announced a couple new entrants in the 2024 Royal Rumble match in Becky Lynch and Shinsuke Nakamura. Some fans wondered if WWE pivoted from their original announcement plan with those Royal Rumble entrants.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that the announcements for the Royal Rumble match were taped beforehand. Therefore, they were not a last-minute addition to the show.

There were some asking if the Royal Rumble announcements on Thursday’s preview show were a pivot from Triple H’s announcement. WWE filmed those announcements on Monday at Raw, so it was always the plan

We will have to see when Triple H makes his next big announcement. The Money in the Bank and NXT Heatwave announcement for Toronto was certainly interesting, and it was a big deal for fans in Canada.
