MJF lost the AEW World Title at Worlds End, and then Adam Cole said that he’s never coming back. Only time will tell when the Salt of the Earth is seen again, but recent developments are quite interesting for him.

MJF vanished from the AEW roster when 2024 rolled around. Many fans paid attention to this, and Tony Khan has now answered a question about what is going on.

While speaking to the Going Ringside podcast. Tony Khan was asked about MJF’s disappearance from the AEW roster page. TK didn’t give any definite explanation, but he did indicate that MJF was great for the company.

“I can say that MJF certainly has been a great part of AEW for the first five years. And through those five years, certainly, he’s been one of our great homegrown stars…and he’s somebody we really value and I would love to have MJF in AEW in the future, should the contractual situation allow.”

Tony Khan went on to say, “Certainly MJF is somebody we would love to have an AEW going forward. And he’s been a great wrestler and a great champion for us.”

We will have to see what MJF decides to do next. His contract situation may be an interesting point right now. It doesn’t sound like MJF’s name will be showing up in AEW very often at this rate, because he is off the roster, but Tony Khan is open to change that.
