Chris Jericho’s name trended in a huge way after allegations that compared him to Harvey Weinstein came out. That won’t keep him off AEW television, as stories about NDAs from Chris Jericho have been pretty much ignored by Tony Khan.

After the Kylie Rae allegations broke about Chris Jericho, a clip also resurfaced of Jericho downplaying Vince McMahon’s hush money allegations. That story has much different light to it now. #FireJericho trended on social media, which was the last thing Tony Khan needed on the day of his Worlds End pay-per-view.

Tony Khan made it very clear during the media scrum after Worlds End that he would not comment on “unsourced rumors.” That being said, the contract that Jericho has for an AEW Tag Team Title shot is still good.

Chris Jericho was not on AEW television this week, nor was he seen during the Rampage tapings. After all, his presence brought chants of “NDA” and “Kylie Rae” from the AEW Worlds End crowd. He did have a backstage segment during Rampage.

In Norfolk Virginia, at Battle of the Belts IX on January 13th, Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara will battle Ricky Starks and Big Bill with the AEW World Tag Team Titles on the line. This match will have an extra special stipulation.

This match was declared as Big Bill laid down the challenge. The AEW Tag Team Titles will also be defended in a street fight. This leads us to wonder what might happen in that match.

There are a lot of stories about Chris Jericho going around right now. One of those involves Jericho getting knocked out on his own cruise after mouthing off to someone. It appears that he is still getting love in AEW.

We will keep an eye on more action from AEW to see what matches Tony Khan books next. Only time will tell what they decide to do next, but Chris Jericho is still going to be a part of things.
