WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has left an indelible mark on the wrestling world, but he hasn’t stepped foot inside a WWE ring in many years. Now, Kurt Angle has disclosed whether he would ever come out of retirement.

The Olympic Gold Medalist squared off against Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35 back in 2019, which ended up becoming the last match he ever completed in.

The legendary WWE Superstar eventually came back to WWE and was largely featured in cameo roles. Angle was last seen during the RAW XXX edition of the show back in January of last year.

While speaking during a Q&A session at Steel City Con, the WWE Hall of Famer was asked if he would ever come out of retirement. Kurt Angle made it abundantly clear that he has no intention of competing inside the ring ever again.

“I went back to the WWE in 2017 and it was the right time for me to come back. I got inducted in the Hall of Fame, I wasn’t nearly the wrestler that I used to be and that’s why I retired. I lost the step and I don’t want the fans to remember me as this broken-down old wrestler, so I retired early and I got out of it and I never went back.

There are wrestlers that still keep coming back, like Ric Flair, and Terry Funk when he was alive. He had like, I guess, 30 retirement matches, but that’s not me.

“I’m not going to be doing that either, I won’t I won’t step foot in the ring again unless I’m cutting a promo.”

Kurt Angle is also still under contract with WWE. Only time will tell when the pro wrestling legend will be able to make his return to WWE television, as fans most certainly miss him by now.
