CM Punk returned to WWE over a month ago, and fans care about every aspect of his life, especially his dog. Larry is well-known by pro wrestling fans as Punk and AJ Lee’s little buddy, but he had a recent health issue that needed to be corrected.

CM Punk’s dog, Larry, actually suffered an alleged injury during the Brawl Out altercation. Punk’s camp reported that Larry was inadvertently hit in the face when the door to Punk’s dressing room was forcibly opened after a media scrum. Larry had two loose teeth, which needed to be removed after the incident.

In a recent interview on 640 The Score, CM Punk mentioned that Larry had experienced further health issues, including blown-out ACL. During the WWE 2024 Preview Special last night, Punk was asked about Larry’s current condition.

“Oh, gosh, he’s doing so much better. He’s doing much better. He’s had a string of really, really good days. He had a rough couple of months. I don’t know if it was harder on me and April (His wife, aka WWE’s AJ Lee) or was harder on him, but he’s trying to jump back on the couch now. That’s how we got hurt in the first place. So we just gotta keep an eye on him still. But he’s doing a lot better. I appreciate you asking.”

CM Punk didn’t have Larry around to show him off on camera, as he said that AJ Lee likely had him in another room, keeping him from interrupting the interview. It appears that Larry may run that house, which is not uncommon for anyone who owns a small dog.

CM Punk is in a feud with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. Their public exchanges began before Punk’s return, continuing in on-screen promos, which some fans have likened to his past confrontations with AEW stars like Adam Page. CM Punk was not shy about taking credit for the fact that Rollins had a career in the first place.

We will have to see what is next for CM Punk and Larry. He may just appear on WWE television eventually, which may give WWE a chance to market some merchandise for Larry, hopefully a t-shirt better than the one AEW put out for CM Punk’s K-9 companion.
