WWE SmackDown is gearing up to kick off 2024 with a big episode. Vancouver hosted New Year’s Revolution, and that included an exciting return.

During the January 5th episode of WWE SmackDown Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits made their way to the ring as a well-dressed faction. Then Lashley started cutting a promo on the crowd about how he didn’t get the results he wanted to in 2023, but at least he linked up with the Street Profits.

After Bobby Lashley announced that he is in the 2024 Royal Rumble event, the screen went black. Then Karrion Kross and Scarlett came out. Suddenly, AOP jumped Lashley and the Street Profits in the middle of the ring.

The team of Karrion Kross and AOP demolished Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits in brutal fashion. This was quite a return for Authors of Pain on WWE.

It was previously reported that Paul Ellering was spotted in Vancouver ahead of WWE SmackDown this week. That gave a lot of fans a clue that AOP was coming back. That’s exactly what happened.

It was also reported in January 2023 about WWE’s interest in the duo. Akam and Rezar have reportedly been under WWE contract for nearly a year and a half, with their presence at the WWE Performance Center confirmed in August 2022.
