Bryan Danielson is unquestionably one of the most established names in the world of professional wrestling at the moment. He had barnburner of a match with Kazuchika Okada at Wrestle Kingdom 18 but came up short. Now, Danielson has given his first remarks after the bout.

Wrestle Kingdom 18 has lived up to expectations with incredible surprises for fans in attendance and it also featured a bunch of special matches for their fans as well. Even Dolph Ziggler made an appearance at the show, shocking fans all around the world.

Bryan Danielson faced off against Kazuchika Okada at Wrestle Kingdom 18 in what was arguably the best match of the night, as both competitors took each other to the absolute limit. In the end, Okada reigned supreme and put down Danielson with a Rainmaker for the win.

While speaking in a backstage interview following the incredible bout, Bryan Danielson made it clear that he was finally happy to have faced Kazuchika Okada in the way he was supposed to.

Even in losing, that’s what I’ve wanted for the last 13 years…coming to the Tokyo Dome and wrestling someone like Okada… last time I wrestled Okada, I was disappointed he tapped out…today, I wrestled Okada, with the fire that makes him the best wrestler in the world.”

Bryan Danielson also plans to significantly reduce his in-ring time after 2024. We will have to wait and see what’s next in store for Danielson, as he has finally achieved his dream of wrestling at the Tokyo Dome.
