Bryan Danielson has been open about his intention to step back from full-time wrestling commitments by the close of 2024, primarily to devote more quality time to his family. However, he has also been clear about his intention to continue wrestling on a part-time basis beyond that year.

In a recent conversation with Tokyo Sports, Danielson shared his plans, saying, “I’ve been actively wrestling every week for an extended period, and I’m looking to scale it back in terms of matches. After this year, I anticipate having around five to ten matches annually.”

Danielson went on to mention several potential opponents he would be interested in facing during his part-time wrestling stint. These names included Hiroshi Tanahashi, El Desperado, Tetsuya Naito, Hiromu Takahashi, Shingo Takagi, and Tomohiro Ishii.

His upcoming match is scheduled to take place at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18, where he is set to square off against Kazuchika Okada, a highly anticipated showdown that has garnered significant attention from wrestling fans.
