Buzz Within AEW About Imminent Debut for Women’s Division

AEW closed out 2023 with Worlds End, and this week will give fans a chance to see what they have in store for 2024. That could come with a big debut to kick things off, and the current word is that someone is debuting for the women’s division.

There are few interesting options for women in the free agency market. This includes names like Mercedes Mone, Deonna Purrazzo, and even Kamille. Word is that someone is going to debut for AEW soon, even if it goes down tonight.

PW Insider noted that there is some buzz backstage within AEW that the company will see a new member for their women’s division debut very soon. This could come as early as the January 3rd episode of Dynamite.

There is talk of a new women’s talent debuting as soon as tonight.

Mercedes Mone is an option, and many fans are expecting her impending arrival in AEW. There are a few options out there, but only time will tell what Tony Khan has in store.

The key to bringing anyone in would be to follow it up with good booking. Hopefully, Tony Khan has a decent plan for anyone that he is going to bring in, because the honeymoon period in pro wrestling is over quickly.
