Sami Zayn Required Staples After Brutal Wound at 12/29 WWE Live Event

Returning to action after a brief hiatus during WWE’s latest Holiday tour, Zayn got busted open during the December 29 live event. It was then revealed on RAW this week that Zayn required 15 staples following his brutal wound.

During the Toronto live event on December 29th, Sami Zayn took on Finn Balor of The Judgment Day in a Last Man Standing Match. The intense bout turned truly brutal, with Sami Zayn suffering significant cut and getting badly busted open during the match.

Despite interference from Dominik Mysterio, Zayn secured the victory. Exiting the ring, he received a loud ovation from fans, a testament to his dedication to his craft and the impact of his performance.

The Day 1 edition of Monday Night RAW had a lot of major moments and announcements throughout the show. The team revealed that Sami Zayn needed 15 staples following his match at the WWE Live Holiday tour event. WWE would also show an image of Zayn’s stapled head for good measure.

Zayn’s most recent appearance on WWE programming was on the December 4 episode of WWE RAW, where he suffered a loss to Drew McIntyre. It remains to be seen when Zayn will return to WWE television.
