Internal Reaction to AEW Taking MJF Off Their Roster Page

MJF just lost the AEW World Title to Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End. This could be the start to a great reign for Samoa Joe, and he plans on introducing revamped AEW World Title, too.

There is a lot going on in the pro wrestling world. MJF’s contract situation is certainly worth talking about. Recent events of him disappearing from the company’s official website’s roster really set off some alarms.

PW Insider reports that, although MJF was taken off the company’s roster on their website, there is a lot of doubt that it is legit. The overall mindset is that MJF isn’t leaving Tony Khan’s company.

No one we’ve spoken with in the company believes he is actually gone and this is just storyline playing off his “war of ’24’ stuff that he’s referenced forever.

It was also noted that, “MJF has been banged up for some time so a hiatus would do him well right now, both in terms of health and in freshening him up after he’s a focal point of the storylines over the last year.”

We will have to see how long MJF stays away from AEW. He could take a long break to heal up. Then again, you never know what can happen in pro wrestling at this point.
