Elias was released by WWE in September, and he waited a bit of time while remaining silent. Now, we know that he is getting out there and taking on the indies.

The former Drifter revealed his new name on the indies today. He will now be known as Elijah. It seems that Elias and Ezekiel are gone for good. Elijah is forging his unique journey after parting ways with WWE.

Wrestling REVOLVER announced that Elijah is slated to make his debut at the Whatashow event in Grand Prairie, Texas, on February 17th. This will mark the former WWE Superstar’s first public gig since he was cut.

As of this writing, this appearance marks Elijah’s initial in-ring performance since departing WWE, with his last match on the May 15th, 2023, episode of WWE Raw. We will have to see how often Elijah makes appearances on the indie wrestling scene, but it’s good to see what he’s getting back out there.
