Dijak Considering Name Change After WWE NXT’s Incredible Canadian Ratings

Dijak has been on a roll ever since he returned to NXT last year, as the star is truly bright for the NXT Superstar. He already took credit for NXT’s success this week but he wasn’t done as Dijak has now taken credit for the show doing the highest number ever in Canada.

As reported earlier, the WWE NXT episode on December 26th achieved a viewership of 670,000 with a .19 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The episode ended with an NXT Underground match between Dijak and Eddy Thorpe, providing an intense and engaging contest. This final segment likely contributed to the episode’s increased viewership.

Dijak claimed credit for NXT’s viewership success on Twitter, referring to himself as a “massive draw.” Given his recent impressive performances, many fans didn’t take issue with his statement and acknowledged his contributions to the show.

According to John Pollock of POST Wrestling, AEW Dynamite achieved its highest viewership in Canada since March 29 this past Wednesday. Similarly, NXT garnered its largest audience of the year and the highest number on SN 360 on Tuesday night.

“In Canada, AEW Dynamite averaged approx. 144,000 viewers this past Wednesday – its largest viewership in the country since March 29. NXT on Tues averaged ~96,000 viewers and was its largest audience of the year & the highest number I’ve seen NXT do on SN 360, per my records.”

Never one to fail to be active on Twitter, Dijak reacted to the historic NXT numbers in Canada, as he wondered if he should just change his name to DRAWJAK.

Interestingly enough, Trick Williams proclaimed himself as the real draw for NXT following Dijak’s claim. It remains to be seen whether Dijak will end up having an incredible 2024 as well since fans want him to become a champion eventually.
