After all, quite a few names have parted ways with AEW this year. Now, Tony Khan has addressed these departures and hinted at bigger things in the future.

Tony Khan oversees the company’s operations. However, in recent months, AEW has faced challenges, with some fans expressing apathy toward the product. The sentiment among certain fans suggests a period of dissatisfaction with the company’s offerings.

The past few months haven’t gone well for Tony Khan’s company whatsoever. After all, QT Marshall announced his resignation from AEW through social media post. That was followed by Rafael Morffi, Vice President of Live Events/Touring, parting ways as well.

Finally, Matt Jackson’s wife Dana Massie also left AEW recently. While speaking during the AEW Worlds End media call, AEW President Tony Khan was asked about the company’s recent departures.

In response to Dave Meltzer’s inquiry about key individuals departing or leaving AEW, including Dana Massie, QT Marshall, and Rafael Morffi, Tony Khan expressed gratitude for their contributions to the promotion.

While acknowledging the challenges of their departures, Khan emphasized that AEW is in a growth phase, and he is enthusiastic about the company’s future. Khan mentioned exploring new hires, especially with contracts often expiring in December, teasing upcoming developments and announcements at the Worlds End event.

Tony Khan also compared AEW’s declining ratings to Monday Night RAW’s current situation. Regardless, it remains to be seen what kind of hires Tony Khan will be conducting in the coming months.
