CM Punk’s run in WWE following his return at Survivor Series has been nothing short of legendary for many years. After all, fans are happy about the fact Punk is finally getting to do things his own way after a decade away from WWE. This was reflected after he greeted fans while leaving Madison Square Garden’s December 26th show in surfaced footage.

The world eagerly anticipated CM Punk’s return to the WWE ring after decade. Facing him in this much-awaited comeback was Dominik Mysterio, who many fans felt was the perfect return opponent for many reasons.

The Second City Saint had a 15-minute battle with the former NXT North American Champion before putting him down with a GTS for the win. Naturally, fans were ecstatic to see Punk win the bout.

As seen in footage Ringside News obtained, CM Punk was greeted by fans while making his way out of Madison Square Garden and in his car, as he expressed his love for his adoring fans.

The Madison Square Garden house show also broke all kinds of records for WWE. It is safe to say that the event was a monumental success on all accounts, so it remains to be seen how WWE will book Punk as we head towards the Royal Rumble on January 27th, 2024.
